Dullstroom is a very popular tourist destination.
Here is some self-catering accommodation that we at FFF Safaris suggest booking at in alphabetical order:
The Dullstroom Inn boasts a rich history dating back to the Boer War in the early 20th century and was one of Mpumalanga’s best-kept secret for decades until the first-ever Sunday Times “Finders Keepers” prize of a million rand was hidden in the wall of the well-known English pub.
It remains a pub in a million, with hearty meals prepared with fresh ingredients from local farms and ice-cold beer being served in front of a crackling log fire that has been burning for over 4 decades.
Elandskloof trout farm is one of the oldest trout farms in Mpumalanga with the build in 1952 and stocked with trout from the then Lydenburg trout hatchery.
Situated on the Mpumalanga escarpment and an easy 2.5 hours drive from Gauteng it is a perfect spot to bring the family for a comfortable time in the big outdoors.
Greystone Lodge offers tranquil self-catering accommodation giving you a relaxing home-away-from-home experience.
Situated on a 180-hectare private nature reserve in the Mpumalanga Highlands of South Africa. Located a mere 30km off the N4 between Belfast and Dullstroom and en-route to the Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrim’s Rest and Kruger Park. We are an ideal location for touring and a perfect spot for a quiet break from the city.
Holingsberg consists of two farms, Elandslaagte/ Muriel and Uitvlugt owned by the Hattingh family since 1947. The farms are currently owned by the two brothers Jan en Dewald.
The name Holingsberg is derived from a family myth. It is the name of the magical place their father would visit when he wished not to tell his nosy kids where he was off to. Today Holingsberg is not a myth anymore, but still, the magical place where one can escape from a fast and ever stressful life.
